Does Magicjack Plus Work With Hughesnet?

I know the original version did NOT work with HughesNet, but I am hoping someone can verify that they corrected this issue for those of us that live in rural areas.

Actually there is no way to verify with just one answer from a person who has had good luck with Hughesnet because there are still known issues and your reception or at least the reception of the person to whom you are speaking can be marginal at best.

According to what I have read, the problem with satellite signals and magicJack might be correctable by both utilities - Hughesnet says that magicJack needs to make adjustments.

But who knows, you might be in the right place but keep this in mind and remember it is from the magicJack FAQs:

Question: Will magicJack work with satellite Internet like Direct TV, Hughes, or Windstream?

Answer: NO.

We do not recommend using magicJack with satellite Internet.

Though satellite Internet service is considerably faster than a dial-up connection, it is traditionally slower than many cable, DSL and other high-speed Internet connections. There is also a delay with sattelite Internet service
