Do You Need The Remote

My brother gave me the antenna but he can't find the remote. My husband got the antenna assembled and mounted in place on the roof. However our Magnavox 46 MF401B-F7 keeps saying that no channels are found. We have checked everything. Please help!

If the wiring is disconeected at any point it give no channel signal, if the remote is not available try turn the anteena manually to see if it dteect any channel.
