Why Won't All My Store Bought Dvds Play?

It may need a firm-wear update, especially with newer disks or it could be that the DVD laser is dysfunctional or dirty many blu ray players actually have two lasers one for the blu rays and one for the DVD's other players will have a refocusing laser that changes focus in order to read different type disks...so cleaning it may help either with a cleaning disk or else a can of compressed air....frugally applied to the right areas....if you take the top off to clean it this may negate the warranty, if it is still under warranty take it in and have it serviced....
