Backlight Flashes Once Then Stays Dark.
I have a 37MF437B/37 that has a display, I just cannot see it due to a back light failure. Upon pressing the power button I can hear the power supply come up and after approx 4 to 5 seconds the backlight flashes on for part of a second, then stays dark. The power supply voltage going to it puts out a contstant 24VDC. If I disconnect most of the lamps, the backlight will come up but with much flickering (visual noise), and a noticeable hiss. That would generally sound like a PS load issue, however, the 24 volt line stays rock solid. Any recomendations as to what board to replace? I do not have a repair manual.
