Outside Mirrors Quit Folding With The Switch On The Door

First check the fuse for the mirrors. (If it is OK then...) The Lincoln mirrors have to reset themselves. Manually fold the mirror all the way in and try using the door button to fold it out. It may go out all the way, actually folding out too far.. Then it may make a scarey grinding, clicking sound. This is OK. The mirror is resetting itself. Then try to use button to turn it back in. It may close all the way in and make that clicking sound here. Sometimes you have to repeat this process two or three times before it resets itself.
