1999 Lincoln Towncar Executive Series Hear Shifter Stuck In Park,

i have already changed out the brake switch n wires!!!! Replaced with new ones... it got worse, can you please tell me what to look for besides replacing the brake switch,? I chked The wire or coil under the steering column is good not lose or broken!! Also how can I tell if the shifter interlock solenoid and neutral safety switch are No good

You either have a balky brake pedal switch that sends a signal to the park lever solenoid, or a defective solenoid at the park lever itself. The solenoid releases the park level, the brake switch tells the solenoid to do this.
