Browsers Slow To Load.....

 on this laptop i hv windows 8 but im finding when I load up google chrome or IE10, it takes ages to load up. Once it is loaded it runs fine, with no issues. Any idea what might be casuing this. The laptop is only a few weeks old with nothing new downloaded, except Dropbox.
