Light Won't Go Off And The Machine Won't Turn On

The light on the inside of the machine won't go off and the machine won't come on so I can wash.

I had the same problem.  I turned off the breaker and let it sit idle for an hour.  Then I turned it on and the whole machine works again.  Switching breaker on/off for a few minutes didn't work, but letting the washer idle for an hour did the trick here for me...
