I'm Getting A Te Error On My Washer

I need to know how to fix the TE code on my washer

LG Washing Machine Error Code = tE
LG Washer Error = Heating Sensor Error
CHECK / REPAIR / FIX = Check wiring connections on the drum thermistor (temperature sensor). It should measure about 40,000ohms at 85 degrees. If defective then replace it. Check the heating element for damage. If the heating element is defective then replace it.
