How Do I Get The Activation Code For Netflix On My Lg Blueray Bd651?
The Netflix code presented in the Setup page on this player does not work. There are many similar complaints on the WEB regarding this problem with other LG devices. The suggested firmware update procedures available from LG for the BD650, absolutely do not work, the BIN/ROM files downloaded with the instructions cannot be used for an update, the instructions indicate you can use a USB device (the BD651 has no USB port). Placing the files on CD/DVD does not work either. LG has no info on this model on their support pages. WTH?????

- Open your preferred web browser on your computer and navigate to www.netflix.com
- Log into your acct if necessary and click "Your acct & Help" on the upper right hand side of the page
- Scroll down the page until you reach the "Watching Instantly on your TV or computer" section and click the link for "Activate a Netflix ready device"
- On the device itself, navigate to the Netflix App (location will vary based upon model-please see your manual for specifics)
- After launching the app for the first time, you will be asked if you have a Netflix acct. When you answer "Yes", you will be given an authentication code that you will then need to enter on the page you should now be at on your computer.
- Click the "Activate" button after entering the code on the "Activate your Device" screen from your computer

You can update the software by connecting the unit directly to the software update server. Please click here and follow the instructions.
