I suggest you check that the filters are not blocked.Verify by checking underneath the machine where the emptying pump connects to the machine. Sometimes the pipe can get a split in the pipe and during the rinse cycle it will empty the dirty water and reload clean water. It may be that the pump has something lodged inside. Check the user guide available here:

Refer to the troubleshooting help available in the guide for more information.

Hope that solves your problem. Please mark as helpful if it leads you to a satisfactory solution.Thank you.

If your LG dishwasher (model LDF8874ST) is leaking water onto the floor during the rinse cycle, there are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can take:

Check the door seal/gasket: Inspect the door seal or gasket for any signs of damage, such as cracks, tears, or hardened areas. If you find any issues, the door seal may need to be replaced. Contact LG customer support or a professional technician for assistance in obtaining a replacement seal and guidance on how to install it properly.

Ensure proper loading: Make sure that dishes, utensils, and other items are not obstructing the spray arms or blocking the door from closing securely. Overloading the dishwasher or improperly positioning items can lead to leaks. Load the dishwasher according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure there is enough space for water to circulate freely.

Check the spray arms: Inspect the spray arms for any clogs or blockages that could prevent them from rotating freely. Remove any debris or buildup by gently rinsing the spray arms under running water. Ensure that the spray arms can move without any hindrance.

Inspect the drain hose: Examine the drain hose for any kinks, twists, or damage that could be causing a leak. If you find any issues, straighten out the hose or replace it if necessary. Ensure that the drain hose is properly connected and securely attached to the dishwasher and the drain system.

Clean the filter and check for clogs: Remove and clean the dishwasher's filter according to the manufacturer's instructions. A clogged or dirty filter can cause water to back up and overflow. Clear any debris or obstructions in the filter to ensure proper drainage.

Verify proper leveling: Check if the dishwasher is level by using a bubble level. If the dishwasher is not properly leveled, it can cause water to leak. Adjust the leveling feet as needed to ensure the dishwasher is stable and balanced.

If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the leak persists, or if you are uncomfortable performing these tasks yourself, it is advisable to contact LG customer support or a professional appliance repair technician. They will have the expertise to diagnose and resolve the issue with your dishwasher.
