Hi,

You will also need a sim card from the network that phone is currently working. Sim card will be needed when you enter unlock code to Your phone.
Codes for LG are from manufacturer database. Unlock codes are assigned to IMEI number.

If after enter to secret menu phone will ask for:
network lock - please enter NCK code
service provider lock - enter SPCK code.
