Ice Maker Issue
I have had my LG LMX2598ST for about 5 weeks now and the ice make has been working great until a couple of days ago. Now it made ice but it won't release it into the dispenser so that it can make more. The arm moves freely. We have not changed the settings since the day we turned it on and set it up. Can you help?

First, please make sure there is power to the ice maker. I know that seems dumb but it happens. If there is power and it is not running, then we can look at other things.
1. The ice maker will only start a harvest (remove the ice cubes) if it is below 19F. If the ice maker is not at that temperature the ice maker will not harvest.
2. You can manually extract the ice by making the ice cube enter the harvest cyvle. Press and hold the ice selector size button for 5 seconds. This will start the harvest cycle and should extract your cubes.
My main concern would be termperature. I think these models have fans that blow cold air to the ice maker in the door. I have heard the fan fails a lot.
