How Do I Factory Reset ?

cannot remember password I need to factory reset the phone and wipe out all the data, how can i do this?

This is how to perform a hard reset on this phone.

Take the battery out. Put it back in. Press and hold the following keys at the same time for about 1 to 2 seconds until the touch key backlights turn on: Power/Lock Key and Down Volume Key.

As soon as the backlight on the touch keys is turned on, release the keys. Then touch and hold the Home Key until the LG logo is displayed.

Your phone will perform the hard reset.
