If your phone doesn't recognize your Google account the only way to unlock your phone will be to perform a factory/hard reset of the device.

Performing a hard reset will DELETE ALL DATA from internal phone storage and reset the phone back to the state before you turned on the phone for the first time. Resetting the phone does not erase any system software updates you have downloaded or any files on your SD memory card, such as music or photos.

To perform factory/hard reset please follow those steps:
1) Power down the phone then remove/reinsert the battery to ensure that the device is completely off
2) Press and hold the following keys for 10 seconds: Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button. Release all 3 keys when the Android Recovery Menu pops up
3) Press Volume Down to scroll down and highlight "wipe data/factory reset"
4) Press the Home Button or Menu Button to select
5) Press Volume Down to scroll down and highlight "Yes - Delete All User Data".
6) Press the Home Button or Menu Button to select
7) After data wipe is complete simply highlight "reboot system now" and select it by pressing the Home Button or Menu Button.

I hope this is helpful to you!
