My Ice Switch Gets Stuck And I Have To Manually Pull It Out For It To Stop. Why

The swith gets stuck. Also, recently, it's difficult to get any ice to come out. The bin is full. I almost always have to open the door and bang on the ice bucket for it to release any ice at all. What could be the cause of these two separate issues?
