The Dishes Are Not Getting Clean. I Have Cleaned The Spray Arms--there Was Very

There was virtually no clogging in the arms.  The area around the base filter area was also very clean.  There weresome particles on the upper sidewall which were still there after a second wahing.  The arms were definitely free to move.  I could use a cooking thermometer to check the water temp at various stages of the cycle.  Any other suggestions?  The dishwasher is 5 1/2 years old.
