My Lg Hs102g Projector Will Not Stop Scrolling Through All The Menu Settings.

My LG HS102G projector will not stop scrolling through all the menu settings when it is switched on, eventually turning itself off. It's like someone is pressing all the buttons on the remote control at once but even with the batteries removed it does the same thing. It also seems to get very hot quickly. Could these be related?
