It took me a while, but it wasn't bad. My dryer is actually hinged in the back and the removal of the 4 screws helped, but I don't think the removal was actually necessary. There is a wedge clip in the front of the top panel. The top panel must be lifted up exposing the two screws holding the front panel on. These two screws are screwed from the top down into the front panel. There is four more screws inside the door, screwed from the front towards the back. The screws for the lint trap don't need to be removed and nothing needs to be done with the steam nozzle cover. The front panel comes off with 4 screws in the front and two down from the top. With the front panel removed the gas valve is right out in the open on the right hand side of the dryer. My dryer actually had 2 pins on the side that wouldn't allow the top panel to slide back at all. Might be a new design. Extremely easy once I found the two clips on the front that needed to be poped straight up.
