To remove the top cover of an LG DLG4871W dryer, you'll need to follow these steps:

Unplug the dryer from its power source.

Locate the two screws that secure the top cover to the control panel at the front of the dryer.

Use a screwdriver to remove these screws.

Lift the top cover off the control panel, then lift it up and off the back of the dryer.
