Laundry Detergent Spilled In The Dryer Display!

please help! Laundry detergent spilled behind the display on my dryer and now the buttons and lights won't work! I pushed the power button and it made the sound it always makes when I turn it on but the lights don't work and none of the other buttons work. I absolutely need to get this fixed ASAP. Should I order a part? Will it dry and be ok? Thank you in advance for any advice!!

put the machine off, disconnect it from power, use a hand dryer to dry the point the liquid poured. Allow a day before restart
