Dryer Stops And Beeps To Clean The Filter, But It Is Clean

Our DLEC 855R dryer has been nothing but problems for me. I've had to replace the sensors & fuses multiple times since one month after purchase. The heat it puts off raises the house temperature substantially. We don't use it on hot days. The normal dry setting melts fabric & cannot be used. The current problem is that it constantly beeps to indicate to check the filter, however the filter and the filter placement area are both clean. If I have more than about 5 shirts or 10 pairs of socks this problem occurs. This is not usable. What needs to be replaced this time? Thanks

You do not say if the unit has been checked by an engineer. If the temperature is too high and melts fabric that points to a faulty sensor which could be a fire risk. (Whirlpool has had a serious issue with one of their machines which caused fires on many occasions and a repair system is in operation.) I would recommend you have the unit checked before any further use for your safety and your children if you have any. Be aware that even after use and switched off any residual heat could cause the unit to ignite.
