Drying Extremely Slow

THE FILTER OF OUR UNIT ONLY HAS LINT ON ONE SIDE....THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN WHEN WE FIRST BOUGHT IT AND THERE WAS LINT IN THE FILTER ON BOTH SIDES...WHAT CAN WE DO?
