Magic Motion Remote Registration Failure !!! Over And Over
when i baught the LG smart tv 3D, the magic motion remote was working!! after i set an internet conection, the pointer is not working no more, i can only use the buttons to change channels, volume, or home. I tried many things and tips from the web, like: holding the mute and ok buttons for 5 seconds, moving away any object that might cause a damage in the range between remote and tv. i removed the wireless lan device. but nothing!!!!!! registration faile again!!!!
i need help!!!!

Hi, I just experienced the same issue for about a month now. I tried number of different things the LG rep told me to do, nothing worked. Heck, I even bought a replacement magic motion remote and that too had same issue out of the box. That's when it struck me that it could be something to do with the TV. I made a note of all my settings and apps, did a factory reset on the TV, it restarted. I setup network wifi first then plugged in the remote dongle and waited for the blue light, then pressed ok on the new magic motion remote, voila registration succeeded. I also tried registering my old magic remote that had all these issues and even that succeeded in registering. I have since restored all my settings and apps and its good as gold since then. I hope this helps as the LG reps are of no use in this instance. Cheers.
