No Hard Disc Detected

This situation is not covered in the troubleshooting section of the user manual.

This error can mean one of three things.

First the hard drive is missing. It's not unheard of for hard disks to disappear out of new products.
The disk has failed and needs to be replaced.
The cable has become disconnected.

Any of these options will require the chassis to be opened.

If there is any time left on the warranty that the unit back to the dealer.

If you open it yourself you will void any remaining warranty. You can easily damage things far more than they already are. You can get electrocuted.

Fore your own safety I recommend that you take the unit to a service shop and let them have a crack at it.

If you feel technically capable you can open the case and attempt a repair yourself.
