Will I Always Be Ignored?

I have been a member of LA Fitness for a few years.  When I first joined, I used the gym to help me prepare for marathons.  I used mainly the eliptical and stationary bike.  I noticed that in the area of the machines that I used that their were 12 TVs.  Half of the TVs were set for MSNBC and CNN stations.  On several occassions, I asked if 1 of the dozen could be changed to Fox News.  I was told that this question comes uo often.  The local gym told me that the corp. office controls the stations.  The corp. office says that the local gym can change the station.  I had surgery on one of my knees and was told that I could no longer run.  Now I will be in the gym much more often and for a longer period of time.  Will the gym change one station or will I continued to be ignored?
