Why Hire An Incompetent Customer Service Help, This Gives A Bad Representation.
August 12, 2015To whom this may concern, Yesterday I went to the LA Fitness by my house Chicago-Lawrence, I didnt have the LA Fitness ID, and I tried to show to the Front Desk Help (Nelly) my Driver License however she kept on insisting it's not acceptable and only LA fitness ID she would accept; I told her "Show me in the LA Fitness Policy that a Driver License is not acceptable. you can check my ID and it will show in the computer systerm that I'm a LA Fitness member." She then pulled out the LA Fitness Policy and clearly stated on the Rules and Regulations #1 from which she yellow highlightened: Upon entering the club, all Members are required to present their active Membership card or Proper identification, LA Fitness may prohibit your use of the facilities or may charge a guest fee for use of the facilities for that day. and she left out from the highlight "OR DRIVER'S LICENSE OR OTHER GOVERNMENT ISSUED PICTURE ID"clearly she saw it and decided that she's gonna make up her OWN RULES and not follow the LA Fitness Rules and Regulations.She didnt want me to come in and start with my work out and told me to wait for the manager.I wasted close to 25 minutes arguing with her and waiting for the manager, when she could have just let me in when she clearly saw in the LA Fitness Regulations that Driver License is acceptable.I spoke to the General Manager (Greg Jackson) and told him the situation and showed him the policy and he was very kind and polite.However he couldnt help me with that Front desk representative (Nelly).I work very hard both at work and at home and when I have time to go to the Gym it's such a big deal to me, and for me I think it more as a treat to myself. LA Fitness spends millions of dollars on Marketing but to have it ruined by one person who clearly didnt have the best interest of LA Fitness in mind is such a tragedy. I hope you will handle this matter the proper way because clearly this person doesnt belong on the Customer Service she has no manner and surely she doesnt represent LA Fitness, she shouldnt be on the Front Desk at all.
