Returns Not Being Honored

Today I was going to return a candle wax warmer, and I was told my receipt was 1 month and 1 day old and i could not return or exchange the item, even with my receipt in hand. They said their rules had changed and I would have to keep it, I told the CSR I did not want the warmer due to is had these crazy light bulbs in it and I did not want to have to purchase those type of light bulbs just for that one warmer. He called his manager and then he told me, this was a new policy and I would have to keep it. I told him that was crazy, and he just said I am sorry. I told him I would never shop at Kmart again.I am a very frequent shopper at Kmart, and I think that this new rule is totally crazy.

Hi,

My name is Jason and would love to help you with this issue that you are having. Most companies actually have a return policy and at the end in very fine print it will say that these rules are subject to change at any given time. I know that this may be frustrating or even upsetting, but I would try to sell it online to get your money back. I am sorry that this happened to you and I can understand your frustration.
