The Water Tray (pan) And Drain Pump Mounted Beneath It Fell Apart.

Ice machine KUIC15NLXS 0 , part numbers 6 #2313705, and 32 #2313834. The plastic mount on both items seems to have disintegrated, causing the pump to fall off into the body of the ice machine. The plastic is in crumbly, sticky pieces. What could have caused this??
