Dishwasher 'rinse' Light

the "rinse" light is on all the time.  It is slightly duller than normal but when you press the rinse light it brightens up.  I can't seem to cancel it.  The dishwasher functions (or seems to) nonetheless.  I have tried turning off the breaker to reset but it didn't work.  Is there a reset sequence that I can do with the buttons?
