Attachments Cleaning

I recently bought a Kitchen Aide Model KSM95CU0 mixer, and washed the attachments in the dishwasher. Now, they have a black/dark film that comes off on my hands and onto the food I am mixing. Did i wash them incorrectly? I paid a lot of $$$ for this, and shouldn't have this issue the first time it is used. Advise. Bonnie Griffith

Bowl, white flat beater and white dough hook may be washed in an

automatic dishwasher. Or, clean them thoroughly in hot sudsy water and

rinse completely before drying. Wire whip should be hand washed and

dried immediately. Do not wash the wire whip in a dishwasher. Do not

store the beaters on the shaft.

I suggest you call KItchaid CS@ 866-457-9340 & tell them your items failure, they probably will replace your beaters or attachments.
