Dishwasher Kudc10fxss Continually Beeps

I interrupted the drying cycle on the KUDC10fxss dishwasher - pressed start/resume and closed the door.  After a minute or so a beeping noise started.  I repressed start/resume and closed the door - same thing - the beeping noised started (and the drying light blinks and the start/resume light beeps). I tryed cancel but it will not cancel.  What else can I do - I read the manual and there is no help there.
