I Cannot Find A Coated Beater That Doesn't Start To Chip After Just A Few Mixes.

From your description the beater is defective. Chances are you can return it to the merchant; if not, it's almost certainly under warranty. For warranty service phone KitchenAid at 800-422-1230.
