Problem With Kfp750ob0 Replacement Bowl

I bought a replacement bowl for my KFP750OB food processor. When I tried to seat it, I could not get it to seat. The pin at the base of the handle sticks out much further than the original. How do I get the pin to seat

If the bowl will not seat with simplicity as per the manual, then it may be the wrong part #.
