How Do I Secure Access To Amazon On A Kindle - As In No Access.

We are buying a Kindle for an elderly person in a nursing home who can see the kindle enlarged print. We will create a separate account to access Amazon and purchase books but want to make sure if the Kindle is stolen someone else cannot purchase books. So we want to turn off access completely and only allow access by certain designated people.
