Change The 1st Generation Kindle Ip From Us To India

Hi Kindle,I have 1st Generation Kindle, which I purchased in US in 2009 and which I used frequently until 2012.After that I have relocated to India and haven't used my Kindle much since. Recently, I took out my Kindle again and am venturing to start using it as before but I have the following concerns, which I want the Kindle support to help me with.1. I am aware that I will be charged 4$ international access fee every time I download an ebook via whispernet, Is it possible for me to change the IP(Serial Number) this Kindle is registered with from US location to India location, so that I will not be charged this international access fee?2. I don't have access to the email address that was registered with this Kindle of mine, but remember which email address it was. Is it possible to reset the email address this Kindle is linked to?Would appreciate responses from Amazon on this.Thanks,Aruna

You will not be charged extra for using the 3G connection outside the US according to this page. However, coverage in India is very spotty so you may not get a signal where you are. There is a coverage map you can view here.
