2006 Kia Sorento A/c
2006 Kia Sorento Ex 88,000 miles A/C fan works but air is not cold. What can I check before taking it in for service?

It is common (especially in hot climates) for refridgerant leaks in autos. Many motorists have to "charge" their AC systems for peak cooling. Just don't let a shady mechanic fill you with lies about "parts that NEED to be replaced". Any licensed A/C person can top your pressure for about $8.00 per pound of coolant (usually 2-3 pounds required).
