Frost Problem In Kenmore Model #28042 20.6 Cu
Kenmore manual defrost deep freezer needs to be defrosted every 6, lately every 3 months. Set temperature wheel on no 3 (digital thermometer shows 7.o F) before I had it on 5. When I take out some item a bunch of frost comes with it. The door is being opened daily at least 3-4 times (have 3 teenagers) maybe for 30 to 60 seconds.Should temp. setting be lower or higher? I just defrosted in March 2015 and again on June 21, 2015.In the 1980's I had a freezer which I had to defrost only once a year.I appreciate any input to this problem.

This is most likely due to bad (or defect) door seals letting it warm air which then condensate and frost up. Do inspect your do sealing.
