Kenmore Freezerless Refrig Too Cold
Just bought a remanufactured/reconditioned Kenmore Freezerless Refrig, model 253 60711010 two days ago. Despite turning the temp dial to barely on, it freezes all the food. Compressor never seems to turn off. It will be about 2 weeks until Sears can get a repair tech to come, so I'm wondering if can fix it myself by replacing some small part. Thermostat? Is there a thermistor on this model? I read on another site that the thermistor, not the thermostat, had been the cause of a similar problem on another Kenmore frig.
