Disposer Does Not Reset What Next
disposal doesn't turn, pushed reset nothing happens

When the reset button doesn't work you need to free the grinding plate or wall to release the jam. Turn off the garbage disposal at the wall switch.Rotate the hex key or disposal wrench once again to ensure you have freed the jam from the plate or wall. Plug the garbage disposal back into the outlet beneath the sink.
