Is There Or Was There A Recall On The Kenmore Elite Washer?

As above, I am having difficulty with my Elite washer and have had it repaired once already and now the F1 message comes up.  In researching, it appears there was a recall on this washer, but I do not know the details.   Please inform!  Thank you.
