I Bought A Model 1692 On 05/16/11 At Our Local Kmart;
it stopped freezing yesterday - not even six months old!! i did not get any type of agreement; with a kenmore i certainly did not expect to need one! this was a $200 item - holy moly now what do i do?!

All Kenmore products have a 1-year limited liability warranty. Basically, anything that goes wrong as far as manufacturer's defect, Sears WILL repair it for you at no charge (parts OR labor).
I would advise calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME (800-469-4663) and speak with a Technical Specialist (the repairs department) and they'll be able to assist you in getting it up and running again!
