2012 Jeep Liberty Transmission Problem
I recently rented a 2012 JL. On a couple of occasions when I started driving in the morning I would experience the engine revving at a high speed after I shifted from "reverse" to "drive" and did not move. At first I thought that I had not actually shifted to "drive" and was in "neutral. When I got to a stop light 2-3 minutes later I experienced the same problem. I shifted into "neutral" and pressed the gas pedal slightly and shited back to "drive" and drove away. No problems the rest of the day. Experienced the same problem on another day. First drive of the day. No problems later on that 2nd day. No problem on 3rd day. On 4th day I drove about 50 miles and stopped for 30 minutes. When I started the engine the "Check Engine" light came on. Any thoughts/comments?
