I Have A 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 That Accelerated Unexpectedly And Scared

The daylights out of me. Fortunately I miraculously missed 2 parked vehicles and a bldgn. Called jeep and they are not aware of any problems. Googled un anticipated acceleration for 2005 5.7 grand cherokees and found lots of problems. Jeep consumer number phone number 1 800 992 1997 service rep. is not aware of any issues. Any comments Please !
