Returns

The policy saids.....I am responsibly for the cost of the return shipping. Or I could return to the store.The reason for me ordering is....JC Penneys closed there doors in Seguin, Texas. The next nearest two would be San Antonio, Texas (60 miles one way) or San Marcos, Texas (50 miles one way). I do not feel that it is my responsibility to paid this fee for returning. When they are no JC Penneys near me. And if there was .... I would not be ordering on-line. I would hope that I received a refund paid label.Thank you, Gail Uhlig

You may be confusing us (an independent help site) with Penney. Unfortunately, although retailers almost always accept returns, they are not even obligated to accept them if their published policy does not say otherwise. And as you point out, Penny's policy does not contemplate paying return postage.
