I Am Getting Error 2738 And Can't Open Im

It looks like this has happened to a few other users, as well.  It can be fixed by changing a registry setting.

The Fix:

"I had the same problem. If you use google you´ll find many solutions about re-registering the vbscript.dll. I tried this, but it didn´t worked.

So I looked to the registry. May you have the registry key for the vbscript twice in your registry. One in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, that will be ok.  But if you have the same in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, may that´s your problem.

Delete this HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{ B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8} from the registry (make a copy before doing that )

This worked for me. If it doesn´t work after that re-registered the vbscript.dll via commandline (started as administrator) with: c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\vbscript.dll"

This is a vbscript error. You see it with lots of programs and it's related to Windows not IncrediMail. Mostly due to removing McAfee, but could be something else.

I would contact Microsoft for help.
