Would a small backpack work as my "handbag" on Iberia flight from Boston to Madrid? It would contain basic travel personal items and a camera. Thank you.

Hi, the guidelines for exactly what constitutes a carry-on bag vary depending on the airline. This USA Today page describes dimensions allowed by some carriers, which can also vary depending on which class you are flying (first class, economy, etc.). If you check the website for the airline you will be flying, you should be able to find size guidelines, or if you post your airline and which class you are flying here, someone can research that information for you.
