Being A Tiburon Owner For 5 Years Now.

When I bought my 03 gt Tiburon, I replaced the system with a $4,000 stereo system including amps subs DVD player etc. However since the new wiring system obviously had to be replaced in order to connect all of these equipment ever since then the airbag light has been on ever since. I've spoken with other to Ron owners roughly in the years of those three in a forest who have had similar problems with their Tiburon. The mechanic / stereo installer told me that the air bag light indicator would not affect the actual airbag if at any point in time the airbag needed to deploy. Reassuring mean to say airbag was still in fact functionable. My question is how do I determine if the airbag is or is not functionable with or without airbag light indicator on.Also another question is beings that I've owned the car for 5 years I've been a registered my car other than the fact that the DMV change titles in to my name how do I know if my car from the time it was manufactured in 2003 till present date has had any of the recalls repairs done to the vehicle.
