May also be the idle speed actuator, which is also located on the throttle body.
Is there any way you can lower the idle speed with an idle speed screw? I doubt if it has one, but check where the accelerator cable connects to the throttle body. It would be easy to turn an idle speed screw out to lower the speed, but your car probably doesn't have one. Can't hurt to look, though.
