Circuit DiagramThis is a circuit diagram for another machine from the same manufacturer. The circuit will be similar and you should see that the solenoid is earthed at one side and a yellow wire goes to the coil. That wire would be smaller than the one from the battery and likely a push on which would connect across the two larger terminals usually using nuts on the studs.
